On January 1, 1990, G. John Dezenberg, started his solo law practice in Huntsville, Alabama. Always devoting a third of his practice to helping individuals with Bankruptcy and Debt Relief, in May of 1994 he decided to devote himself 100% to helping individuals with debt issues, and he limited his practice to Consumer Bankruptcy Law only.

For more than 40 combined years the attorneys at Dezenberg & Smith have helped individuals with debt issues get the fresh start they deserve. They have made a purposeful decision to keep their office small, two attorneys with supporting staff, to allow them to devote the appropriate amount of time and care to each case, to get to know the people we represent, and to remain accessible at all times. The attorneys at Dezenberg & Smith will not disappear after the first meeting. They will stay with you every step of the way.
